How Can You Help The Good Samaritan

There are many opportunities to support and help the orphans who are part of Good Samaritan. These include:

Sponsoring a youth for one or two years: With your donation of about $200 per month for twelve months, one orphan in Beius will be able to work in one of the Good Samaritan programs for one year and receive a salary, health insurance, and pension contributions, as well as vocational education and life skills training to help him/her to socially and professionally integrate into society.

Providing dental care for a youngster: Many of the youth suffer from severe dental problems. With your donation, you can help a youngster take care of his basic dental needs. Please contact us to receive more specific information on the youth's needs and the estimated costs.

Providing financial assistance for improving and expanding current programs: All of the Good Samaritan programs need equipment and supplies, which are detailed in the Good Samaritan "Wish List". You can donate funds for a specific item we need, or you can contribute to our general fund, which will help us meet our administrative and program-related expenses.

Volunteering as a teacher for short-term seminars: You may have a special skill that would help orphans transition into the community. By visiting Romania and sharing your talents directly with the youth or by providing the organization with educational materials, you will be able to help develop the youth's skills for leading successful and productive lives.

Donating in-kind goods/equipment: The Good Samaritan youth are in need of items such as clothes and shoes, as well as house and medical supplies. Spreading the word: If you know others who may be willing or able to help, please tell them about Good Samaritan, our mission and the needs of the orphans we serve.
