The young orphans are building a house for their brothers

My name is Cazac Constantin I have been a construction manager for Good Samaritan for about three months. The project I work on is called Risen and has the purpose of building a family orphanage in which 10-12 orphans of different ages will live and be educated. I work on this project with a team of 11 young people who have grown up in the orphanage from Beius and who were delighted to take part in this team. When they heard about what we were going to do in this project, all of them wanted to get involved to help the other orphans. They were and still are enthusiastic about the possibility of changing something in the lives of these children through what we do here.

By now we have done the digging for ditches for the foundation, we poured the foundation, we have done the wood forms for concrete slab , and we poured the elevation and the plate. Two days ago, we poured the concrete plate and now we start the woodwork for the wood structure of the walls.

We hope that by the end of September the house will be up and covered and after that we will complete the interior and exterior finishing.

The house will be ready to be used before the Christmas holidays, in order for the new family to be able to spend the winter holidays in the new house, this being a new beginning of a new life for all of them.

The idea to build with orphans for orphans seems to me a very good one and I hope that it will be just the beginning of a very long string of such projects. The orphans should be involved in such actions, not only to be helped, but to be supporters of society as well.
